Une très belle semaine pour moi puisque les vacances m’ont permis de passer une semaine très agréable avec de superbes lectures, de belles découvertes et j’ai pu apprécier chaque livre lu.

Une petite semaine pour moi avec 2 livres dont un de la rentrée littéraire qui me tente énormément et que les blogueuses ont elles aussi beaucoup apprécié. Le second est un livre de fantasy, genre littéraire que j’affectionne, avec une superbe couverture et un synopsis très prometteur!

Fantastique – Wings: Ailes tome 1 de Aprilynne Pike

J’ai reçu ce livre dans le cadre de Masse Critique avec Babelio et les Editions Pocket Jeunesse que je remercie tout deux.

Synopsis:

Laurel est une jeune lycéenne comme les autres , à quelques exceptions près. Elle ne supporte pas le soleil, elle n’a jamais froid et préfère vivre en plein air. Mais le plus étrange, c’est cette fleur dont les pétales ressemblent à des ailes et qui pousse …dans son dos. Laurel n’est pas humaine, et son extraordinaire métamorphose est inévitable. Elle devra désormais se partager entre deux mondes…et deux natures. Tout ce que vous pensiez savoir sur les fées sera à jamais bouleversé.

Mon avis:

Cela faisait un moment que e livre me tentait mais j’hésitait entre VO et VF. Dès que j’ai vu la réédition chez Pocket Jeunesse, j’ai tout de suite craqué sur la superbe couverture et j’ai choisi de lire ce livre. Je suis une grande fan de fée et d’anges donc c’est tout naturellement que ce livre m’a attiré et je dois dire que je me suis vraiment régalé! L’auteur nous livre ici une histoire totalement différente avec des fées hors du commun, différentes de celles que nous connaissons et c’est justement cette originalité qui m’a séduite et m’a donné envie de lire les prochains tome. Laurel, le personnage principal est une ado comme les autres, enfin, c’est ce qu’elle pensait jusqu’à ce qu’elle déménage dans une nouvelle ville, une nouvelle école et qu’une métamorphose change tout ce en quoi elle croyait et bouleverse sa vie.Les parents de Laurel, Mark et Sarah, sont des personnes très cool, compréhensive et qui soutiennent leur fille. David, son nouvel ami m’a beaucoup plu de par sa grande ouverture d’esprit, sa loyauté et le fait d’être toujours présent aux côté de Laurel quand elle en a besoin. Tamani, est un personnage entouré de mystère et de magie qui m’a beaucoup plu avec son charme et son arrogance. La hiérarchie des fées crée ici par l’auteur parait tout à fait crédible et pourtant toute les description sur l’endroit où ils vivent et sur leur monde m’ont enchanté et j’ai trouve tout cela entouré de magie. Au cours du dénouement, je n’ai eu qu’une envie, que j’ai d’ailleurs toujours en écrivant cet avis, lire le second tome et savoir comment vont évoluer les personnages et connaître un peu mieux le monde des fées qui, dans ce premier tome, n’a été qu’entraperçu. La plume de l’auteur est fraîche, agréable et fluide! Le livre se dévore très vite et l’auteur nous donne envie d’en savoir toujours plus et d’aller toujours plus loin dans l’histoire. On ressent que c’est une lecture jeunesse mais j’ai vraiment aimé le lire et il m’a fait passer un excellent moment de lecture plein de fraîcheur.

Un coup de coeur pour cette lecture fraîche qui m’a fait passé un excellent moment. Je n’ai qu’une envie: lire la suite au plus vite!! Je vous conseille vraiment cette saga si vous aimez les fées et que vous avez envie d’en découvrir une autre facette, il sera fait pour vous!

News – Le tome 2 de Possession est en route!

Ca y est c’est officiel! Le tome 2 de Possession d’Elana Johnson se nommera Surrender (Réddition en VF) avec une sublime couverture toujours aussi épurée et élegante mais cette fois ci le papillon sera remplacé par un bocal et un oiseau! La sortie en VO est prévue pour le 5 juin 2012 mais en attendant vous pourrez suivre toutes les infos sur l’auteur et les deux premier chapitre de Possession aux niveau de la VO sur la page facebook ici mais aussi sur la page Facebook Francaise par ici.
